While SMRT Ltd (Feedback) was exposing Xiaxue, it also exposed that prime minister Lee Hsien Loong also has a lot of "suspicious or empty accounts".

"On a side note, check out Lee Hsien Loong’s Twitter account – you cheeky fella, you," SMRT Ltd (Feedback) said.

SMRT Ltd (Feedback) was referring to the 46 percent of "suspicious or empty accounts" that Mr Lee has. That is close to half of the followers who are "suspicious or empty".

Meanwhile, do you know that the People's Action Party (PAP) fares much worse?

PAP's Twitter account has more than half of it which are "suspicious or empty accounts" - a staggering 64 percent of its followers are "suspicious or empty".

Only 22 percent of PAP's followers are considered "good".

And what about Facebook?
Mr Lee's Facebook page has more than 460,000 likes.

But then how many of these are real fans?

One way to look at it is to look at the number of "people talking" about the page.

On Mr Lee's page, he has only 36,200 "people talking" about the page.

This is only 7.8 percent of the people who liked his page who are talking about the page, which means that less than 10 percent of Mr Lee's likers are actively engaged on his profile.

What happened to the other more than 90 percent of the "likes"?

For PAP's Facebook page, it has 76,232 likes.

But only 6,000 people are talking about the page.

This is only 7.9 percent of the likes on PAP's page which is actively engaged.

The rest of the more than 90 percent are not.

According to SMRT Ltd (Feedback), Xiaxue's Twitter account has 22 percent which are "suspicious or empty accounts".

SMRT Ltd (Feedback) said that Xiaxue has been "buying likes" to boost the likes.

Mr Lee and PAP's Twitter accounts have a lot more "suspicious or empty accounts" as compared to Xiaxue.

Mr Lee has 46 percent and PAP has 64 percent of "suspicious or empty accounts".

According to SMRT Ltd (Feedback)'s thinking, this would mean that the majority of Mr Lee and PAP's likes would be bought then?

=> With taxpayers' money?

But Xiaxue was aghast with this claim.

"Do they genuinely believe that PM Lee, the leader of our country, both a Cambridge and Harvard graduate, with countless achievements under his belt - WOULD FUCKING BE SO STUPID AS TO BUY TWITTER FOLLOWERS???" she asked.

"When if caught, which is easily, it is a national scandal and embarrassment??" she exclaimed.

Of course, no one is suggesting that Mr Lee and PAP are buying likes but her reaction does come across as astonishing.

In 2012, Xiaxue said, "Yes I support PAP."

"Ever since I blogged about my support for PAP in 2012, (SMRT Ltd (Feedback)) have been attacking me non-stop," she also said yesterday.

Things are looking to become more complicated. But either way, more information being revealed seem to be useful for Singaporeans than not, in a place where it has become difficult to obtain transparent information.
