Woman suffers from memory problems

A woman, who slipped into a coma after an SMRT bus driver abruptly hit the brakes, has awoken.
On 16 December 2011, 54-year-old Ding Weibo and her daughter were on board a SMRT bus when the driver braked abruptly.
This caused Ding to fall hitting her head at the edge of a seat. She fractured her skull and eventually fell into a coma.
According to Lianhe Wanbao, Ding's head injury has caused her memory problems.
Her husband, You Bu Jia, 58, told the paper that Ding would often call her daughter by their dog's name and the dog by their daughter's name.
He also added that Ding has mood swings and would bite people if she is agitated.
Ding has not yet been discharged from the hospital and is uncertain when she can go home.
