She's part of the defence counsel, not the legal representative. Most likely the one handling the docs while Peter Low is the one who argues. Low is her boss, cannot say don't work.
Anyway Peter Cuthbert is an interesting chap. He was the defence lawyer for Tang Liang Hong and for Chee on one occasion. However he also acted for Father Kang, NKF Richard Yong and Lawsoc when Lawsoc was going after Gopalan Nair.

The manner with which interogations are held in Singapore is no different from interrogations done hundreds of years ago. This stoopid Tey should have known better. He should have lodged a criminal and civil complain against his interrogators after they were alledged by him to have coerced him into confessing a crime he says he didn't commit. This kind of mudlaysian standard can even be judge and lecturer is a joke at the Singapore judiciary.
Who is paid more? A polytechnic lecturer or a publicly-known practising lawyer?
Smart move. Any accused who believed that their crimes or charges are related to some phantom political linkages can sought her services. Alernatively, if they want to have some drama or fun in court, Ravi would be an ideal choice. For non-legal entertainment, they can hire Kumar.

This follows a criminal motion filed by his lawyers who said they needed sufficient time for preparation.
The court has ordered that the trial dates to be no earlier than mid-December.
The trial was supposed have started from 15 October.
Tey, a National University of Singapore professor, faces six corruption charges for allegedly showing favour to his former student Darinne Ko Wen Hui between May and July 2010.
Justice Quentin Loh has however dismissed two other criminal motions filed by Tey's lawyers - to obtain information from NUS and the prosecution.
Defence counsel Peter Low had asked for information from NUS on the grades of Ms Ko and four other students.
Mr Low also asked for further information on the six charges, which includes critical witness statements.
Tey told reporters outside the Supreme Court that he is disappointed with the decision.
He added that he is seeking legal advice for an appeal.
On Mr Low's request for Tey's medical records from Alexandra Hospital, Justice Loh made no order.
Justice Loh said the matter can be settled between Tey and the hospital as the medical reports are Tey's.
He added there is little justification for the hospital to withhold the information.
The hospital has also stated Monday it will "readily provide" the clarifications requested.

SINGAPORE - Instead of being tried in court next month, National University of Singapore (NUS) Law Professor Tey Tsun Hang (picture) will have his sex-for-grades trial postponed for at least two months after High Court Judge Quentin Loh yesterday ordered that the trial at the Subordinate Courts "shall not start earlier than mid-December" this year.
Tey, 41, a former district judge, faces six corruption charges for allegedly showing favour to his former student, Ms Darinne Ko Wen Hui, between May and July 2010.
Justice Loh also dismissed Tey's applications to obtain further information from the university and the prosecution.
Mr Peter Low, Tey's lawyer, had on Monday requested for the grades of Ms Ko and four former NUS students, arguing that their grades were relevant as Tey was allegedly coerced into signing confessions to the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) that he corruptly obtained gifts in exchange for unjustified favourable grades.
Justice Loh said that, while NUS is prepared to produce such documents for inspection, certain classes of documents require redaction of names to preserve student confidentiality.
A court order for the documents would also be needed as these documents fall under certain confidentiality and privacy constraints, noted Justice Loh.
Although he felt Tey did not meet the tests set out under the English Common Law, Justice Loh said Tey is free to make his application before the trial judge where different considerations may apply.
On Monday, Mr Low also sought clarification of the charges - such as times and places of the alleged sexual intercourse - and critical witness statements from the prosecution to better prepare Tey's defence.
This application, however, is "premature" and should be made to the trial judge, and not to the High Court, Justice Loh said yesterday.
The High Court Judge made no order on a criminal motion filed against Alexandra Hospital, in which Mr Low had sought more information on the tests and examinations conducted on Tey.

Tey Tsun Hang also maintains that after his arrest and interrogation by the Corrupt Practices Investigation Bureau (CPIB) in April, he had to be rushed to the Accident and Emergency Department of Alexandra Hospital.
There, he was treated and diagnosed with "acute stress disorder and altered mental status", his lawyer Peter Low said in court yesterday.
Mr Low said Tey was ordered to go back to the CPIB on the day he was discharged from hospital, and "he wore hospital-patient clothing" to the bureau.
Tey, 41, faces six counts of allegedly obtaining gifts and sex from former student Darinne Ko Wen Hui in 2010, in exchange for good grades.
He had filed four criminal motions requesting more information from the National University of Singapore (NUS), where he is employed, the public prosecutor and Alexandra Hospital.
Criminal motions enable accused persons with complaints to have their arguments heard in court.
At the motions hearing in the High Court yesterday, it emerged that four other former students had also been involved in the CPIB's investigations.
Tey maintained that information about the grades of the students other than Ms Ko's was "directly relevant".
This was because he had allegedly been coerced into signing confessions about obtaining corrupt gifts from two of them "in exchange for unjustified favourable grades", and had been forced into admitting to taking gifts "such as tea leaves and obtaining sex in exchange for unjustified favourable grades".
Some of these gifts include a printer, an iPad, a keyboard and batik shirts.
Tey was in court yesterday with several of his former students.
Mr Low said documents from the hospital were to aid in Tey's defence, as the lawyer would be contesting the validity of Tey's confessions.
At the hearing, the hospital's counsel Kuah Boon Theng said a detailed medical report had already been collected by Tey's lawyers last Thursday. It contained information that Tey was seeking.
Mr Low argued that there were other notes or "doctors' scribblings" made about Tey's condition during his hospitalisation that were desired, as they would show his fragile mental state.
Mr Low also asked NUS for the grades of Ms Ko and the other four former students, arguing that some of them were needed as witnesses.
NUS' counsel Lim Gerui said the university would "have no issue" in handing over what Tey wants, if ordered to by the court.
In his motions against the public prosecutor, Mr Low asked for the time and place of the alleged sexual intercourse that took place between Tey and Ms Ko, as stated in the fifth and sixth charges.
He also wanted the CPIB statements of the other four students, its photographs of items seized from Tey, and a copy of a chequebook taken from the law professor.
The prosecution questioned the relevance of these items, but Mr Low argued that they were related to the "false confessions" made.
Additionally, Mr Low asked for the trial - set for Oct 15 to Oct 25 - to be postponed, but the prosecution argued that the "recollections of the parties would be distorted".
The prosecution also feared that some of the witnesses would no longer be available if the trial was postponed.
After the hearing, Tey handed a handwritten statement to reporters, stating what he was seeking from the court yesterday.
Justice Quentin Loh will give his ruling on the criminal motions today.
