Due to your post, I made a beeline + virgin visit to Vanda Room VR too on Sat night - the 2nd night of my 3D2N Equarius Hotel staycation !
It was already after 11pm after finishing our margaritas at the Hard Rock Café - when I entered the casino while my 2 friends went back to the room
I like what I saw at VR - many of the slots were placed far apart and the seats were comfy with ample space in between as they have a separate 'box thingy with wires' separating the slots - unlike the very-cramped huge seats at the High Limit area of MBS
Luckily at that time there were vacant Cash Cove slots at VR
I chose the end CC nearest the VR Toilet and it turned out to be my Highlight CC for Sat night !!!!
Maybe VR Beginners' Luck or something, I had 3 Handpays from that CC
In just barely or less than 20-minutes or so play, I'd already managed to win over 4k from that CC with my very modest BR of ard $1500 only as very tight !
I'd brought most of my CC FengShui stuff with me and I must say they did their work well last night !!!
Remember my Fish lucky charms, shark jelly sweets, pishu, nail-clipper, auspicious Green Lemon hand-gel, dead sea salt crystals .... [only thing was I forgot to bring the fish net that I'd brought along with me into the casino that night too - still left in my Overnighter bag] ......
I had 3 handpays from that CC when the wins with balance credit exceeded 10k - with 3 auto-printed-out TITO Slips
Tried very hard for a 4th handpay but it was not to be ... played mainly 75 and 125cr play with quite a bit of Max Play too [especially when found it behaving well] at the 10c Highlight CC !
My highest tally was below 20k region - but lengthy continued play brought down my wins as usual
I cashed out a lower total of about 15k from the cashier [4-6am ?]
The CC play wasn't too good after that - I lost another 3k+ playing other CCs in VR and some in Orchid Room until about 9am Sun this morning
So my retained wins at the end was only about 12k or so [from highest 18-19k from Highlight CC]
Overall a very productive & fun 'rare' RWS Casino trip for me this time round !
Hmmm so for me the VR would be a very good alternative to the Orchid Room for me !
I had checked in late before 6pm on Fri afternoon at Equarius - got a low floor room again as they were full for the school holidays [pre-assigned room ?]
When we returned to our room after watching the Wings of Time show at the beach before our late 8.30pm Set Italian 3-Course Dinner for 2 using the June Birthday Voucher at Palio restaurant, we found a nice surprise Birthday Cake and Fruit Basket !
So my first friend staying Fri night till Sat 5pm got me to get the other second friend with sister who'll be staying over with me on Sat night to bring a bottle of red wine over on Sat morning - so that we could sip wine etc on Sat [as part of my early pre-birthday celebration - as having another more-proper simple birthday get-together this coming Sat at my house]
We went to Cedele for Sat brunch and took away the signature Seafood Pizza from Palio/Michael Hotel after having lattes at the Michael Hotel lobby
Found the Palio Buffet breakfast at $20 nett on Sun a good deal too !
In all a very enjoyable & winning 3D2N RWS Staycation here !
I didn't step into the casino during my previous 2D1N staycation 2 Fris earlier- also stayed at Equarius but with forest view room with very-huge balcony
I had declined the RWS offer of the Ocean Suite for an additional $300 top-up [content with the Equarius Deluxe room for $60 per nite top-up]
Enjoyed my dead sea salt bath soak in the huge bath tub as did my friend who did 2 soaks too !!!
This year, I found the MBS Birthday offers to be pretty bad/stingy instead [no more Free Room offers too]
Instead of the usual birthday cake from Sweet Spot, only given Shopping discount vouchers at the Shoppes ... no use to me !!!!
Anyway, hope my coming Totos and Big Sweep - see big hit !

BTW - earned 400 plus points from that 1N slot play [cos of my Max Play for certain time]

Having a two night staycation at RWS this Wed and Thurs. The last 2 months have been busy and my last few trips haven't been as good though I did have some recovery sessions.
As I have been travelling for work mostly, I had the chance to visit casinos in Europe. Most of them are small compared to our casino, but maybe because I was limited by time, my sessions were shorter than what I would spend at the casino here and I actually had positive outcome at all the casino I visited
I did not play much slots at those casino. Firstly they don't have the games we have here. There were Aristocrat, IGT and WMS games but mostly older ones which I played before online. One interesting thing also is that being small casinos, they do not have TITO, nor do they pay out cash from the machines. Every time you cashed out is a handpay! So basically you can say I had more handpays in Europe than in Sg.
As I was playing mostly for fun, I didn't have any big wins. It was fun because I usually play these games on Facebook and it was an experience to play it for real. One of the games by WMS, Rome and Egypt was pretty good to me as I hit 5 wilds to trigger 50 FGs. Won 260 euro with a 2 euro spin.
I played their table poker games too and they had quite a few variations to the caribbean stud games we have here. One version allows us to change a card by paying our ante bet. On my last hand in Prague, I opened with 3 Aces in hand and paid to change one card. Ended up with 4 Aces! Dealer had 2 Kings and paid me 20x my bet as well as my bonus side bet. Won over 1200 euros on that hand
I think my luck better overseas haha. Hopefully can have a good session this week at RWS! Anyone knows if the Mega JP has dropped yet? Should be over 2.8 million now and will just give some of the mega linked machines a try for fun even though it is a long shot.

I ever did that - pressing Max Bet in mistake at MBS [circular 10c CCs] AND getting Surprise Big Win of 9k from it !
But in normal cases, I'll only do Max Bet 500 credit AFTER having gotten some big wins with 50/75/125 credit play on THAT same CC
Like Sat's VR Highlight CC .... I only switched to Max Bet when felt the machine behaving very well and had gotten some earlier Hand Pays hahaha .....
I did that on great eruptions in March at rws. Lost $50 to the first machine $1.75 bet.
Picked another machine and slot in second $50. Didn't realize it was on max bet $35. Hit the button and landed a bonus on first hit. Managed to get level 5. Paid 3k+. Happy like a bird!

Dunno if it's legal, but if u see the screen, the sure win by words are all gone
