What is this all about? I didn't read the news. CRA staff or SPF? If SPF, I have seen them patrolling within MBS casino but never seen any at RWS before. They are there for security purpose and they don't talk to anyone.

The Casino Regulatory Authority is a statutory board, set up on 2 April 2008, under the Ministry of Home Affairs, to administer and enforce the Casino Control Act. We ensure that the casinos are free from criminal influence, that gaming in a casino is conducted honestly. We regulate the casinos to contain the potential of a casino to cause harm to minors, vulnerable persons and society at large.
Responsibilities
2. You will be part of a team of officers at the forefront of a specialised area of work – the detection, deterrence and prevention of offences and breaches under the Casino Control Act. You can expect to conduct investigations including interviewing offenders and reviewing of surveillance footages as you take enforcement action against such offences and breaches. You can also expect to interface with casino patrons and casino employees during the course of your work. You can expect to assist your team in the research, development and review of policies relating to enforcement work. Your work will enable you to gain insights into the operations of the casinos and help you serve an important part in advancing our vision to be the trusted casino regulator.
Requirements
3. The candidate should essentially possess the following:
(a) Any Polytechnic Diploma with at least 3 years work experience in a regulatory/enforcement environment will be preferred
(b) Candidates who do not possess the required educational qualification but have at least 5 years of related work experience may be considered;
(c) Relevant experience in investigation and/or enforcement postings;
(d) High personal integrity, honesty, pleasant personality and a team player;
(e) Good analytical skills, initiative and meticulous in his/her work;
(f) Ability to work in a fast paced and demanding environment; and
(g) Excellent communication skills (spoken and written).
4. The candidate must be prepared to be deployed for shift duties. Fresh diploma graduates and candidates with other work experiences may be considered.
