Simple rule 101 cannot follow. The most important SOP is to lower the crance to home position before driving.
Hope that LTA will sue the company and also the cost of the replacement.
And also hope the insurance will not cover the mistake.

SINGAPORE : The Land Transport Authority (LTA) has completely removed a pedestrian bridge along Bukit Timah Road that had been damaged by a crane three months ago.

It had initially removed only a portion of the bridge for safety reasons after it was hit by a crane on July 3.

The bridge used to straddle the six-lane wide Bukit Timah Road and Dunearn Road.

Authorities said they will be building a new replacement bridge in about five years. That is when the construction of the Bukit Timah section of the MRT Downtown Line is expected to be completed.

Police told Channel NewsAsia that the 40-year-old driver of the crane has been released on bail and is assisting investigations.

The old bridge is gone, but pedestrians say that is not a problem since a pedestrian crossing is just a stone's throw away.

Malaysian FT? can't be, they know SINgapore road well. PRC FT maybe, didn't know, we have pedestrian bridges & they are 4.5m limit. maybe Indian or Bangladeshi...

What happen to the safety course they take?...I know, they just tick on the multiple choices...a dull person can pass the course easily, just PAY.

The point is, what happen to training, that we enforces? all hogwash....

Nowadays, if you throw a stick into a crowd, smelly smelly will hit an FT. They are an infestation.
