Government practicing double standards in imposing $100 casino entry for Singaporeans
Dear Sir,
I paid the $100 casino levy o 2/4/11. When I left the casino on 3/4/11 I was told to pay another $100 casino levy as I was late by 5 seconds. I was told that even if I was late by 1 second I would still have to pay the additional $100 levy. Thus I have no choice but to stay back and continue gambling and incurring further losses. This is double standards by the government to deter gambling. Even with the $2000 annual levy for Singaporeans it works out to $6 per day. Definitely this will not discourage gambling.
Yours sincerely,
