I'm really shaken for the last day

Got back to my flat after being punched multiple times in the face near Fort street last night.

A drunk homeless dude came up to me, I was going out wearing my N95 saying "What are you wearing you gk", "Dirty Ch*, Go back to china", pushed me over, broke my mask off and punched me multiple times in the face.

I managed to run away (he was bearded, maori dude in a hoodie, biggish) and call the cops. They arrived but the dude had left. Took a statement, and offered to take me to the hospital. I had a scan that showed my eye socket was broken but didn't need surgery. The cops said because it was dark they would unlikely to be able to find him.

I just don't know what to do, I don't feel safe on the streets anymore. I just want to stay at home and hide forever. I'm also angry the cops didn't put any posters or statements out about what I thought was a race attack or looking for the person.

I'm private and don't want my name out there but I'm wondering if I should go to the media to try and get some action/police to get off their ass and try and find the dude.

Anyone have any ideas?
Does anyone know who would care about this kind of attack?

Asiatic chinks are famous for not investing in gym or proper self defence courses. Those silat, kungfu or wingchun classes are crap. Try good nippon martial arts like Karate or good western boxing.

They do it in training 4 without shoes and training 4 wrist button need to be loosened.

TKD black blet then got use abit ba. Too emphasize on high kick using foot and dont even use shins. Old where got flexible to high kick? Then never trained kena hit on the face. Boxing still way better than tkd. Can tarhan punches and know how to use power punch.

My uncle think his observation made alot of sense becas the tkd practised by the ns men are the pes a fit young man whereas mma clubs consists mainlee of ah gua gays spgs and xmm who think that posing with their sparring sessions are sartki. But endup some doesn't even managed to issue any real punches until the bell ring I.e they were merelee dancing.
Even those that won the sparring sessions and promoted to tournaments are merelee top of the weaks. Hence ns men tkd definitelee is above mma.
