SingTel's HD channel freezes all the time

AS AN early-bird subscriber to the World Cup package on SingTel's mio TV, I paid a discounted price of $66.
Last Friday, I was devastated when the channel kept hanging. I called SingTel and had to wait for 15 minutes before I could talk to a technician. I did the usual round of checks (basically resetting the set-top box, twice), but SingTel could not find anything wrong.
I then asked to speak to the manager. Manager Fazly was very apologetic and promised to call me back to fix an appointment with the technician.
I got a call from a technician from one of SingTel's contractors two days later to fix the problem. He came, did some wiring and after an hour, his conclusion was that the distribution point was rusty and I could not receive much bandwidth, causing my high-definition channel to hang all the time.
I called SingTel again and spoke to one Mr Saiful, who said he would talk to SingTel's contractor, and give me a call. No one has called me to date.
