Serious Singtel data roam reliable or not ?

I'm considering getting a data roam top-up from Singtel for countries listed in package B. But my experience with package A, especially when I'm in Malaysia, has been hit and miss. Most of the time the data roam doesn't work.

Msia's Digi has rm10/week, decent coverage. 30 days for rm30.

StarHub has data roaming for 2gb $15 for many countries, valid 1 month. Multiple network operators. $20 for 3gb
