Here's the salary trend over the past 3 years

The overall average salary is a mere $2,700 for fresh graduates. That's similar to working for McDonald's. Sure, you gain experience, grind your way upwards and get paid more as you gain experience, but don't forget about the classic sandwich squeeze! You have to start your own family AND support your ageing parents at the same time.
