Singaporeans' reluctance to pay more for hawker food is endangering the trade

singaporeans are reluctant to make hawkers be millionaires and work 3 days per week for 4hours .... singaporeans are daft, but not carrotheads :whistling:
 
For every Pink IC first time Hawker who is willingly to give it a try ...Rental should be FOC for the first year
Make it cheap, so newbie hawkers dare to venture, tryout different types of cuisine they know from their overseas holiday
High rental only restrict newbie to stick to safe choice, economic beehoon, chicken rice ... etc. kill off the creativity
Any hawker who can survive first year most probably already can adjust to this industry, then let the 2nd Year rental $1000 & so on.
