Many a time, ministers use high sounding words " internal reform and restructuring " that sounded very impressive to the hearers as though the government is serious about the matter and is doing something to change for the better , but to the man on the street, it is just some politically correct statements, but what does it mean to him and his livelihood ? Still got job or not ?

Are they saying and meaning that the retirement age will be extended to 70 ? Are they also saying the CPF retirement fund payout will start at age 70 instead of 65 ? Are they saying that people will be replaced by automation... Industrial 4.0 ? Are they also saying that we need to open the door to cheap foreign labor so that we can continue to be cost competitive ? Are they saying that they still need to increase GST even as the economy goes into a recession ?
