Scientists say pork lard is nutritious and healthy :

I’m still using pork lard oil to cook, only thing is takes time to render the oil from the skin and fats.

Very nice. Some hawkers are very stingy with pork lard.

Would love some pork lard sprinkled on mee rebus.

Mee rebus is bestest eaten with lots of green chilli.

Done that. It really elevates the boring mee rebus to a whole new level. Did the same with mee siam. Bak pok is the secret ingredient, it creates disco in our mouths .

If only some enterprising hawker sells bak chor mee, fishball noodles, laksa etc, in addition to haram variations of traditional Malay noodles e.g. mee siam, mee rebus.

Put up the 'NOT HALAL' sign loudly and proudly, so no Malay Muslim snowflake will later accuse you of sowing 'racial discord' or trying to trick them into buying haram food.

Yeah, they are fond of playing the victim card and love to blame the chinks.

What I do is buy their halal mee rebus and mee siam. Then pop over to the bak chor mee stall and order some bak pok. Find a seat, then pour the bowl of bak pok over the halal dish. Presto! Shiokers! Try it! Or you can order both mee rebus and bak chor mee if you are very hungry, just ask the uncle to add more bak pok.

Every mouthful of CKT at famed T.Blangah is crunchy lard.

Which stall is that? How to order? Must specify want extra lard or that is the normal standard?
