A sombre thread on Sg Reddit on how cancer can strike anyone anytime and take someone away from you.

Like how Reese a company her friend to the police station? :cautious:

1 in 3 people die of cancer so it goes without saying that everyone knows someone who has fallen victim to the disease.

5 of my friends and 7 relatives have died of cancer. That's a total of 12 in my immediate circle. If I add those who are just acquaintances there's at least another 7 or 8 I can think of offhand.

That's why I don't think Covid is a big deal with or without vaccines. I have only lost 1 friend of a friend to Covid.

Kanesh fought cancer since primary school. It returned 3x times, but through it all he served NS (because he wanted to be known as 'one of the guys' not a cancer patient), completed his NTU degree, helped the Indian youth community, volunteered for multiple meaningful projects, made wonderful friends and even launched his own startup. I just want people to know about him, and what an amazing person he is.

Nice story. The lyrics of this song are timeless and true indeed.

I tried so hard and got so far
But in the end, it doesn't even matter
I had to fall to lose it all

But in the end, it doesn't even matter
