In the landlord-tenant example she gave, the landlord would have the ulitmate discretion on who to let the extra room to, or even not to let out the extra room in the first place just so that he can enjoy more freedom and space. However in real, Singaporeans do not possess that kind of power. Decisions are made by the PAP and its minions without consultation with the citizens who gave them the mandate in the first place.
Home is not home anymore and Singaporeans are no longer landlords of their country. They are merely the slaves working on the land of their feudal lords aka PAP and its minions.
