People are actually damn selfish.

Last time in 2008 minibond saga and TKL stands out, people called him to consider run for President.

Then suddenly out of nowhere, TCB first to declare his intention on PE after this 2011 GE followed by TT and TJS.


TT no need to explain and TCB more like to me is wu jian dao to divert TKL's votes and now add another TJS to further split TKL's vote. TJS at least can be understand as purely no relation with PAP by not being a member for any time unlike TKL (But quit in 2008) who worked for about 20 ~ 30 years despite non MP and non minister.
 
There are 4 pathetic brainless monkeys voted for TT. I hope it is just a sympathy vote for him in this forum, otherwise it is going to be a disaster.

kudos to TKL. Greatly appreciate his courage and conviction in standing up for the man on the street during the Lehman Bros saga. In fact, I know many who attended his speeches at Hong Lim Park are deeply appreciative of his actions. In fact, many of these stand unwaived in their support for him in this PE. Unfortunately, they are also people who are not part of the netizens community otherwise they would have fared better. The actual polls will show that he will not go unappreciated. Keep the march alive TKL, High 5.
 
Can one of the netizens take on the initiative and leadership to organise a national gathering at Hong Lim Park to thank all candidates for taking part in the PE? At any election, there is only one winner and in this PE we had very decent people standing up for our nation. No need to be eleborate, just an being present at the venue at a stipulated time will be sfficient to show the whole whole that we have matured as a nation and after every well fought election we come together in unison to march ahead united regardless of choice. Gone are the PAP oppresive election strategies, we are the new Singapore- Proud, free and united. Anyone to this task?
