[Singapore] - Man paid S$10k for durians to sell in pay-as-u-like event for charity hoping to raise S$15k, now can't even break even, because of many unethical cheapo Singaporeans who paid S$4 and took home 6 durians. A couple of generous customers paid S$600 for 2 durians, and 1 woman even paid S$3000 for a single durian, but their kindness & generosity was totally nullified by the unethical cheapo assholes taking advantage of the pay-as-u-like charity system, who were the vast majority of people who turned up. Now the poor organizer can't even break even, let alone raise funds for the Old Age Home he was hoping to help. He shouldn't have naively believed in the goodness of Singaporeans (and PR and foreigners who turned up).
