Singapore is being 'run by smarter people' amid response to pandemic

Here's the background behind what has been going on in China funded WHO:

The Definition of “Pandemic” has been Altered

https://undercurrents723949620.wordpress.com/2021/03/22/the-definition-of-pandemic-has-been-altered/

In recent years and months, the long-held definitions of three words all changed, with immense ramifications for public health policy in the midst of COVID-19

WHO’s original definition of a pandemic from May 1, 2009, specified simultaneous epidemics worldwide “with enormous numbers of deaths and illnesses”; this definition was changed in the month leading up to the 2009 swine flu pandemic, removing the severity and high mortality criteria

COVID-19 vaccines are technically gene therapies and did not meet the definition of vaccine, until Merriam-Webster’s vaccine definition was recently changed to — conveniently — include a description of the experimental gene therapies

From June 2020 to November 2020, WHO changed their definition of herd immunity to imply that it’s a concept that only applies to vaccination, not naturally acquired immunity gained from prior infection

The implication for society is that by putting out this false information, they’re attempting to change your perception of what’s true and not true, and perverting science in the process
They can changed the meaning of words in anyway they want and manipulate the world to follow it. What makes you think they don't do something like this along the line with our history and religion.

This pandemic benefit certain country and sectors.
For people going for enhanced surveillance program.
You have the big share of the cake. Ie. iT companies software etc.
Look at trace together app and token.
Who the manufacturer or industry?
Vaccine??
Media companies coverage turn to profits??
Etc etc etc...........

COVID19 is a pandemic. You can sit and type till all the letters on your keyboard drop off and your balls turn blue,... fact is COVID19 is a pandemic. You can spin all the "definitions" wherever you find them to suit your argument until your brains swell, the fact is still... COVID19 is a pandemic. You can continue to post multiple posts and lie and pivot and spin till you froth in the mouth.... well, the fact remains: COVID19 is still by definition a pandemic.

If you take the liberty to redefine a word to suit your own agenda you can define any word any way you want. However it does not alter the fact that Covid has affected but a tiny proportion of any population so unless you stretch the meaning of the word substantially trying to classify Covid to be a pandemic is just ludicrous.

I'm not the one trying to spin anything. I've simply used long held definitions which have held sway for decades when medicine and politics were rightly viewed as separate entities.

Is it so difficult to simply admit you're wrong about this? You remind me of the characters in many of the sg road accident videos who argue aggressively despite being entirely at fault instead of just making a gesture of apology which would have been far less trouble.

Everything happen must benefit HUMANITY. Does this fake pandemic benefit humanity? Protest and riots are happening in more countries now against covid rules.

Sir, only a willing student is worthy to teach.

COVID19 is a pandemic disease. We are all living in a pandemic. The only way to move it to an endemic disease (i.e. like Malaria), is to have vaccinations, safeguards and through education.

Vaccinations hold the key to a post pandemic world. With vaccinations, you may catch the disease but, as the data has shown, the chances of you becoming seriously ill or dying is less than 5%. Vaccinations weaken the link between getting the disease and dying from it. That is the objective: Not becoming seriously ill or dying from COVID19.

When more people are vaccinated and herd immunity kicks in, the disease has nowhere else to spread, so the chances of mutations go down significantly and hopefully, the disease will disappear.

These are the facts. You can argue till the cows come home, spread wild allegations and misinformation, spin all kinds of lies and definitions to suit your silly arguments or dispense crazy CT about people or aliens having some kind of nefarious reasons for doing what they do,... they don't change the facts or as Sam likes to say: "It doesn't make a scrap of difference."

You're just digging your own grave by being stubborn. There are in excess of 200 MILLION cases of Malaria every year. It kills 500,000 ANNUALLY but it kills mainly black people in Africa so it's endemic and not a pandemic. I think there's an opportunity to claim racism here.

Please do some research first before typing.

Nobody is claiming that vaccines don't work least of all me. By all means get vaccinated as it currently improves survival rates. All I'm saying is that Covid has been blown way out of proportion for reasons that extend way beyond science.

If nothing is done Covid will settle down soon and kill at a far lower rate compared to Malaria. Vaccines will help initially but after a couple of years Covid fatigue will set in and people won't bother to get vaccinated just as not many bother to get the flu jab. I'm one of the few that gets my flu shots religiously every single year in April. I'll be the last person on earth to advocate against vaccines but only when they are administered sensibly and for the right reasons.

Thanks for clarifying what an endemic disease is. Yes, Africa is an example of a malaria-endemic country. Malaria is not found in all countries, therefore it is not pandemic.

If nothing is done, COVID19 would not only have killed millions more, it would have mutated into other forms.

The Singapore government is now being praised abroad after they took my advice to learn to live with Covid.

They could have opened up months ago had they adopted my wisdom earlier.

I don't want to brag but it does seem that when the dust settles on any issue I'm always proven to be the sharpest tool in the shed.
If you think anyone can tame the virus, you are in for a very good surprise.

History shows that this is never the case. There were no vaccines for 1918 Spanish Flu or the 1957 Asian flu but mankind is still around in even larger numbers. Immunity builds up to the point where deaths fall away despite new variants.

You cannot compare pandemics because they are not the same. The severity, number of countries that were affected, patient profiles and even the way of life back then and modes of transmission differ as well, so to say why they didnt have vaccinations then n why we have them now is unfair. It certainly killed a lot of people as COVID19 does now. This much we know. I remember reading somewhere that they had some crude vaccinations back then as well. Anyway, you are an expert at googling information. To say that something is like that then and it will be similar when it happens again is something that low IQ people like you think. Nothing is ever the same....

Bookmarked and will revisit this issue sometime in the future. Only time will tell.

Yes, please do. And you might like to bookmark my earlier posts as well about how, like you, I have always been a supporter of living with COVID. The only BIG difference is that I advocated to do so responsibly with vaccinations, safeguards and education in place.
