We have to serve 2 years NS, but our expected pay package can't hold a candle to a foreigner willing to work for third world salaries. It's pretty obvious which one a company will choose. And the PAP is in the background gleefully giving the assent for more foreigners, as each foreigner brings in $$$ for them either from worker's levy or income tax. Like that we be foreigner suah, no need to serve NS, earn poverty wage for 2 years + take IPPT yearly + go back for reservist, no need to pay CPF, no need to defend this island when the going gets tough. Really, it's no wonder slowly but surely, Singaporeans are shifting out of the country for better pastures like Australia, UK and US.
