Should Mr Tan Yong Soon apologise?


I saw this in a Facebook status thread about whether Mr Tan Yong Soon should apologise for "boasting" about his Paris holiday. Joseph C wrote:
An apology would be welcome but hardly necessary. It's not like he let a suspected dangerous terrorist escape from custody and then failed miserably in the dissemination of information and the recapture of the suspect. It's not like he lost S$12 million of taxpayer's money in misinvestments. Maybe, he should just say he's sorry it has happened, or regrets that some people have found it insensitive. And add that now that it has happened, what to do? So let's move on...

Why should he apologise?

It should be all the Sinkies that voted and voted for LKY and PAP that must apologise for voting those crooks into power that they can employ dwarfs like Tan Yong Soon and pay them so much that they can play at being chefs in Paris and rub what they done in Sinkies faces.

Sinkies stupid enough to keep voting and voting for LKY and PAP bastards are the main cause.

But he should donate $45K to charity.

no need to apologise, money came from the obsence pay package that the govt is giving him.

Mdm Ho lost many billions of dollars also never apologies, so why shd Tan Yong Soon apologies.

He is just sway, also stupid to haolian to national papers to proclaim that he is loaded and govt employee had many annual leave and that his absence from office for 5 weeks are not notice by subordinates. In a sense, he just a "tua pek kong" in his office, punch card collect salary.
