LKY revoked the poor Malaysian pilot's PR status...but he loves Ang Moh...
You can't incite any more hatred of the rich than already exists. I believe there's only one thing rich people are afraid of and that's poor people.

Hating the rich is illogical. One should AIM to become rich. It makes no sense to despise that which you should AIM for.
Hating the rude, obnoxious, foul-mouthed, racist rich, however, is not only perfectly logical, but is expected of every decent human being.
Ok, granted hating the rich may be illogical.
But why is he afraid of poor people?
coz they got nothing to lose
coz they got nothing to lose

yep bro, agree that many of them take on 2 jobs (many examples that i'm sure we know of) and they make an honest living just to bring home the bacon. the context that came to mind was a good pal of mine that drives an extended 5-yr lau pok car that he uses for car polishing svc, was slipped-sided by a rather new q5 whilst in a merging lane that squeezed through from behind. suffice to say that the conv that followed was succinct before he left; that he had nothing to lose as compared to higher insurance, downtime, not so pristine looks and to think twice when "playing" with another jalopy...Sorry bro, would have to disagree there.
The poor having "nothing to lose" is merely the circumstances part.
It will ultimately depend on their mentality too.
There are many poor people who slog hard in order to keep living.
Btw, he wasn't making that comment in good faith anyway. Just another one of his derogatory posts.
methinks that come 2016, many of them would've moved up a few notches in life and would be more aware that pork-barrel and g-mandering stuff are no more the prerogative for pappies to retain as many seats and/or have less opposition - and if life still deals them an uneven hand then, they'll use their votes wisely and still have then tenacity to find ways to put food on the table...On the contrary the poor in Singapore think they have everything to lose -- their next few rice bowls. That's how the PAP scumbags remain in power -- by instilling the notion that the next bowl of rice can only come if they remain in government with no opposition to contradict them.
In Singapore, PR cannot be revoked, only Lee-voked.
Just curious, what kind of crime is considered serious enough to revoke PR in NZ? Also, PR in NZ get to vote right? Not same as PR in Singapore.
I think lawbreakers like the recent Pinoy pervert who took upskirt photos should already send back to Philippine. Not just not talent but menace to society.

Why are you afraid of poor people?
I am not rich and hence not afraid of anybody...except the poisonous bolivian beetle.
But to balance it out, I do make it a point to dislike everyone equally.
