A spine-chilling incident of sexual assault has surfaced from a village near Delhi's Dwarka (sector 23), involving a 6-year-old girl.

The minor has been allegedly raped and brutally assaulted by a 24-year-old man, Mohammad Nanhe, on Tuesday. After taking her to an isolated place, the accused raped the girl and fled.

A local resident, Ravi Lal, spotted her crying in a semi-conscious and bloodied condition on the road. He immediately called up the PCR. Later, she was shifted to the Safdarjung Hospital, where her condition was stated to be critical, they added.

Doctors stated that the veins of her private parts have burst. She was bit on her stomach and has deep injuries. She has undergone multiple surgeries by now.

Police identified the accused with the help of CCTV footage obtained from the area. The footage showed the accused with the girl on the day of the incident. The footage showed him leaving with the girl but returning alone.

Accused, Nanhe, was unemployed and lived in the same locality as that of the victim, was subsequently arrested, the police said.

The accused was found in the village itself in an inebriated condition. He has allegedly confessed to the crime. He originally belonged to Bulandshahr and had shifted to Delhi only three months ago.
