All these formulas are bullshit if the factor can be changed from Indian to Malay.<<The benchmark for an entry-level minister is based on the median income of the top 1,000 Singapore citizen earners, with a 40 per cent "discount" to reflect the "ethos of political service", according to the Public Service Division's website.>>
Entry level ministers are pegged to the Top 1,000 earners in the country. lol… are they worth it or not?
My uncle wants to know who approved this committee ?In 2018, an independent committee chaired by Dr Gerard Ee recommended an upward annual adjustment to match annual benchmark movements of 9 per cent since 2011.
Gearge yeo found out that a politician's job is not permanent. You can be a top 1000 earner this year but may not be another year. But pegging to the top 1000 every time , sure win one.
This is too ridiculous! Their world record high salaries going even higher while the sheep is being told that the GST increase is necessary to offset rising costs. WTF!I thot he kee chiu a humble person wearing casio watch ?
So increase in GST on 1-1-2023 is to increase ministers salaries in 2023 . Increase in GST in 2023 is NOT for infrastructure development or to help the poor.
In these difficult times of covid-19 pandemic, no wonder the MIW die die must increase GST.
So give the people $300 CDC vouchers in return for increase in ministers salaries.
Retribution will befall on the MIW sooner or later. Amen !
