SINGAPORE : MediaCorp will air "live" the four key matches of the 2010 FIFA World Cup on MediaCorp's free-to-air Channel 5 and HD5.
This follows an agreement with SingTel and StarHub.
MediaCorp Channel 5 and HD5 will air "live" the opening match, two semi-final matches, and the final match, with next-day encores.

"The changes announced today will provide SBS with the flexibility to ensure live coverage of all 64 matches of the tournament," Senator Conroy said.
SBS confirmed it would show 12 to 15 FIFA World Cup games in 3D after the communications regulator allowed it and Nine to use vacant broadcast spectrum to conduct a 10-week national 3D trial broadcast.
