How can we not compare? It is not absolute numbers that are important but the ratio and intensity of provocative action by the protestors or rioters. The ratio of rioters to police is worse in the Ukrainian example. The intensity of rioters' actions are worse. Yet the riot police did not run away.

As for the fact that there were only a handful of cops at Little India at the relevant time, that is NOT a mitigating factor. It shows that in addition to morale and training problems, useless fucktard Sinkie polis have command and control problems, not knowing or having the means to put firepower where it is needed most.

spot on! it would have been the right thing to do for first responders to "spirit" the bus driver and female attendant away to a safe and secure location at the first possible sign of trouble and leave the troublemaker's body pinned under the bus until the arrival of a massive show of force. running away from futility is not cowardice. it's self preservation and conflict avoiding while outnumbered and at a disadvantage. it's better to regroup strongly and cum back with a vengeance. the rear admiral's quick minded "go-stan" on the flood exemplifies the kind of sharp and decisive leadership sg needs.
