This is taken from Dr Cai's blog. Dr Cai is one of the earlier batch of PRCs who came to SG in the 90s and became a Singaporean. Used to work in A*STAR bio labs but now driving a taxi....

As I had been facing quite a number of unsuccessful job applications, I have been contemplating to pursue PhD. However, given my lack in knowledge for a clear defined career progression and job security in our national research centres along with recent changes to the administration have led me to seriously reconsider such an option. As such, I was wondering if it would be possible for us for meet up over a cup of coffee so that I may receive some enlightenment and advise from you?
