[SGH debunks fake memo about PM Lee testing positive for Covid-19


SINGAPORE — A fake memo bearing the logo of the Singapore General Hospital (SGH) and saying that Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong has tested positive for Covid-19 is “totally untrue”, the hospital said on Friday (April 3).

Noting that the fake memo has been circulating on social media and text messaging platforms, SGH said in a Facebook post: “We urge the public to be socially responsible and not to circulate this fake news.”

Even if he did test positive it's such a mild infection for most that the risk of any long term adverse effects is extremely low.

Notice all the propaganda news outlets have invariably reported well known figures to have "tested positive". None have used the term "is sick with" or "has come down with" etc.

That's because the symptoms are so mild that they're just isolating and carrying on with work.
