SINGAPORE — A fire broke out in an equipment trailer in the parking bay of the Police Cantonment Complex this morning (March 13), said the police.

Police said that the Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) were alerted at 8.23am. There were no injuries.

The SCDF said the fire was extinguished with a water jet. The SCDF had dispatched two fire engines, one Red Rhino, two fire bikes and one support vehicle.

Ms Lim, who called the MediaCorp hotline, told TODAY that she had seen smoke coming from the complex. According to Ms Lim, who was passing by, some people were seen leaving the building before the crowd slowly dispersed.

The SCDF is investigating the cause of the fire.
