I can get it at $1.80 per piece at some HDB heartland cake shop. Tastes much better.

I don't eat cake. But I know cakes sold by bengawan solo is much more expensive, so $3 is not expensive if it tasted OK.

For this kind of stuff, either you go for the cheap heartlands bakery with decades of history, or you go to Starbucks or some renowned Japanese/Korean bakery. Or go to the hotel bakeries.

Forget about the half fuck standard types in the middle, which 'Heavenly Wang' belongs to.

Sinkies please go to your hawker centres. This price is for Ramesh and friends. They can afford with their high salaries.

Loser sinkies who just got their AP cash payout will happily splurge on stuff like these.

Those customers who can afford to pay for coffee at Wangs ... what is a peanut $3 cake? Those who cannot afford the $3 cake ... how can they afford to patronise Wang cafe to even make a complain?? :roflmao:

I probably wouldn't pay $3 for that piece of cake. I would only pay if I really wanted something sweet. Now I really like ordering food delivery to my home, especially after reading edible arrangements . Since I work a lot and don't have time to cook, this is the best option for me. I am very pleased that they often deliver a nice bonus to my order (most often a piece of cake) and it is very nice. Perhaps that is why I now see no point in buying what is given to me for free
