I recall being rear ended by a Comfort taxi many years ago at the PIE exit to Clementi Road and Jalan Anak Bukit. The cabby apologised that he stepped on the accelerator instead of the brake as he exited the expressway behind me. He hit me so hard that my spare tyre hit the steering wheel. Thank God its was only the "spare tyre" on my tummy.

I watched the dash cam video of one of the cars that was struck by the Porsche. Traffic had already come to a standstill on a narrow stretch on a single lane. Even if the Porsche was crawling in the jam, it would have scraped the car alongside it.

SINGAPORE – A car driver died in a fire on Nicoll Highway after an accident involving five vehicles on March 2.

The man had reportedly been trapped inside his blazing Porsche. His age could not be immediately established.

The Singapore Civil Defence Force (SCDF) and police were alerted to the burning car on Nicoll Highway towards Guillemard Road, before the KPE entrance, at 2.10pm.
