The cyclists broke the traffic law..should be persecuted and executed to prevent such irresponsible behaviour again and to prevent from endangering the pubicThis is why all pedestrians should be licensed and insured before they can take to the streets.

Does not matter...hit means get hit and the cyclists broke the law...illegal act is illegal act...most drivers will not run red light..if not Kenna fine and charged n hit pedestrians Kenna jailed... cyclists run red light because the want to n know they can get away with itThe pedestrian is extremely lucky to be hit by a cyclist. If a car had beaten the red light he'd be dead. This shows just how much safer bicycles are compared to cars.
The cyclists did not obey the traffic lights. Even though the pedestrian has right of way, he should have kept a proper lookout before stepping onto the pedestrian crossing.Cyclist at fault... He beat the lights

Most drivers won't run the red light? You must be living in lalaland not Sinkipoor.
Red light runners can be lethal and it happens all too often with disastrous results.
However you do have a point that they are ACCOUNTABLE for their actions so the widows/widowers of their victims will be overjoyed to know that.
Muhammad Syafie Ismail, the driver responsible for 2 fatalities in the Tampines accident, has still not been sentenced a year after that fiasco.
