This place was also chosen because it's 20 km from Singapore mainland. According to Nuclear safety regulation, there should be a 20 km buffer zone between nuclear facility and city.
How is that going to be possible. sentosa and the city are clearly not very far away. unless the city is in toa payoh or something.
