Where have you been in Malaysia?

Personally I still love to go to Malaysia on short breaks: Cameron Highlands; Fraser's Hills; Tioman; Langkawi; Pangkor Island; Kelantan; Penang; Genting; Malacca; KL...there is something for anyone really.
Been to KL, JB, Desaru, Penang, Genting, Malacca, Perak, not that many places actually come to think of it.
Actually I rather enjoyed being in all these places, it's the travelling that puts me off.
Going through the causeway, or taking a long 6 hour coach ride or 45 min plane ride to KL, or 1+ hour plane ride to Penang isn't something I want to do too often.
I don't mind the places, but can't stand the journey.

Oh yes the journey can be abit of a bummer, but I personally like to drive and also have a group of kakis who are likewise and have similar interests so it is normally an enjoyable group drive trip. Mind you the dangers of these road pirates can be a bit worrying at times, but with some safety precautions I think it is still ok. I use to like to take helicopter trips as well, as I have friends who can arrange such transport at discount prices but since the increase in accidents I have been put off using such mode of travel.
