Imho to know whether a person is suitable for a job need to do at least 2 thing.
1. To go onsite and do a iq test face 2 face q&a.
2. To see the real person onsite.

Online meeting is not suitable for hiring process. So even do a 1st round is quite useless will still need to go onsite to know 1 and 2.
Not say I want to hao lian. Just stating facts using myself as a example.
You do online interview you get monkeys.
Some stupid interviewer also get monkeys from conducting onsite interviews.
A example from my personal experience - The interviewer hired a useless jlb to my workplace when I just need, say 20mins to complete a task, the jlb need 4 hours.
I wasn't talking big or trying to be proud- if this is fabricated I will die a terrible death.

If one reads between the lines of the employers comments...it's basically these towkays wanting to just hire foreign labour and to get a slave workforce for their own benefit. The best way to profit is always labour exploitation
Exactly.. All these employers (mostly flaccid era types) are a bad example of Singapore bosses.

They know nothing about employee rights, welfare and work life balance.

My impression of these bosses are those who support grassloot and follow all PAP ruilings to get more business. Most likely vaccinated, wear mask and demand all employees to be vaccinated or else lose job, and loves mall and restaurants a lot.

Sarah is smart after one time exposure to toxic working environment and she is cautious is getting a proper working environment for herself.
 
Last time I went for a mass recruitment exercise in a semiconductor firm for a position that was far below My intelligence and I scored 100/100 . The interviewer has 0% doubts about my capability but he still will need to ask me questions to find out if I'm suitable in character.

As my niece said before and I repeat what I told her. The credibility of words lies in a death curse becas anyone can talk anything in a forum. That is the only way to prove it.

I did my interview for my 2nd job while queueing up to buy bak chor mee. The boss was in front of me and we started chatting. Then we realized that we were in a similar industry. He told me that he was looking for a replacement staff urgently. I told him whether he would consider me. He told me to go and see him after work, which I did. And the rest is history.

Singkie HR depts are a freaking joke..ask that sort of questions but never know why ang Mors develop such qns. In ang mor culture their objectives is for employees to fulfil the job requirements and of course train them to move up the ladder. But in singkieland if one is capable one is a threat...so ask this sort of qns for fuck?

The statements I made was purely to support my own quotes and not on personal basis. I.e I can use another person's case as a example, it just that I encountered it so I used my own example.
If you try to avoid it i.e by stating nobody cares, it simply means you are Still sticking to your own thinking which was not truly correct :sneaky:
