Iswaran got a way with corruption charges.
AG scheduled the trial for Iswaran' corruption charges for receiving bribes AHEAD OF OBS trial for giving bribes. That is to say, OBS was NEVER going to be the witness for the prosecution, and because OBS trial was going to happen only after Iswaran's trial, the AG has neither evidence from or judgment against the person giving bribes to convict the person receiving bribes.
