Sinkies have not much spare cash one to buy expensive lifestyle stuff.

I think only Yaohan was really successful selling above average quality stuff at cheap price.
 
Times have changed, reminiscing sucks, young people nowadays just want to support chains and establishments, case in point Emerald Bakery at Clementi just closed down last week, citing the same reason
