Las Vegas spending has been declining over the past few months.
Gaming revenues fell 25.8 percent on the strip in October compared with a year ago.
Hotel rooms have been left vacant and casino deals have brought down room prices.
Las Vegas insiders have reported that some rooms at the brand new Encore hotel have been dropped to $160 a night.
Encore's senior management have said the hotel is changing along with the lack of luxury spending.

in terms of development, the casino is only a very small portion of the whole marina sands project. casino to be complete by next yr is not a big problem. but with the construction cranes, building materials & debris in the area, creating an unsightly mess. i think casino visitors may be required to wear hard-hats prior to entry............... hahahaha
