Regular a$$ chicken rice. Nothing fancy. I think rice ball thing was out of stock. This isn't WNK or Ah Tai level chicken rice.

It's exactly the same chicken rice you would get in any neighborhood. Rice wasn't fragrant at all, chicken was soft and tender. 5/10 edible. I have had better and worse chicken rice.

Won't recommend travelling all the way out here to get it. I'm in close proximity and decided to give it a shot.

Very little crowd on Saturday afternoon.

The chicken rice here is just average compared to the one near my house. It’s not worth traveling all the way here for it, especially considering the price. I can get better-tasting chicken rice near my place without the hassle.

The chicken rice stalls at Maxwell hawker centre are above average in prices too, but that is to be expected since it has morphed into another tourist trap over the past decade or so, similar to Lau Pa Sat. Many angmoh tourists dining there on weekends. I bet it's also one of the stops for tour groups.

Last count there’s a dozen chicken rice stalls in Maxwell. And amazing thing all still in business

If your food is nice and nostalgic or hip, tam chia sinkies will queue and pay regardless of the price as long as is within a good food price. Eg a nice chicken rice in hawker centre $20 no problem sinkie will even queue for it.

Take Timbre+ at one north as example got a bubble tea high class coffee tea mocha stall i was shocked to see a queue of almost 100 Jlb office workers when their drinks are all >$10 per serving.

They should have a prominent pappy used as a code word for requesting a specific part of the chicken.

For example: Lee Hsien Loong is breast, LKY is drumstick, someone else is wings, another one is backside.
