BARELY two weeks after meeting a 15-year-old student, Muhammad Ismadi Sabtu, 21, got intimate with her. The teen gave birth to a daughter in July last year.
On Tuesday, the full-time NSman admitted to having sex with the minor on 10 occasions from Oct 1, 2008 till last February and was jailed four months by a district court.
Police investigations revealed that he got to know the girl through one of her friends in September 2008. On Oct 1, he invited her to his flat. After introducing her to his family members, the couple went into his room to listen to music. They ended up being intimate.
They continued to meet at his place for sex and in December she told him that she could be pregnant. But Muhammad Ismadi brushed it aside and carried on having sex with her until February when she told him that she had missed her period for several months.
He then stopped contacting her or answering her calls. The teen kept her pregnancy a secret from her parents and in April, they sent her for a checkup at a polyclinic after noticing that her belly was getting bigger.
Doctors confirmed the pregnancy and referred her to the KK Women's & Children's Hospital. Police were then called in as it was a case of underage pregnancy.
