Setia Sky 88 community

Collected keys few weeks ago. By far one of the best completed developments in JB (as far as i know). I have 2 other properties in other projects which were disappointing. I got a balcony unit which has enough space for an outdoor lounge area, overall i like it a lot!

Of coz there are some frustrations here and there but at least the management/developer is fast in dealing with them.
 
Good to know! However, the maintenance fee is quite high compare with other developments... :(
 
Wrong place to look for tenants; everyone here are mostly owner of Sky88.

Why should they rent when already own Sky 88?

Airbnb JB is already flooded with offers to rent out rooms or whole units.
Looks like soon it'll be over flooded with even more offers with cheaper prices due to stiff competition.

There's only 1 in Sky88 on airbnb, i don't mind if people rent out on airbnb just be responsible and thoroughly vet tenants.

My floor got already 3 people move in and 4 doing defects rectification. Mine was early launch so all are locals.
 
Are u in Tower B? My units all done with renovation & furnitures, ready to rent out.. looking for tenants now..

The project in this video is not an abandoned project whereby the developer went bankrupt before job completion.
Listen carefully to what the people said.
The developer actually managed to get the state Municipal Council to issue the certificate of completion so that they can get the final payment from the bank despite the works was still in progress.
So technical, the building is "completed" in legal terms, the buyers have to pay in full.
The developer cannot do this without the local authorities "allowing" them.
But look at the sad condition of the project in the video.

Similarly, take a good look at most of the roads here, there are uneven, with potholes everywhere; the reason is simple, they are all NOT build in accordance with the specifications.
The contractors cannot do this without the local authorities "allowing" them.

Mostly restored in 2018 after government intervention. Likely resolved by now in 2024.

The developer reduced the prices for Tower A and it is now mostly sold. This is likely the case for Tower C as well.
