You can't join SDA but you can join SPP. SPP is a member of SDA. However, you're right, the CST situation is now a bit too hazy and volatile for a view to the future. Anyway, if you want to join any party, you have to contact them and show up in person first. Get at least one of their members to know you well enough to "sponsor" you.
