Serial housebreaker arrested near Selegie Road

A 32-year-old man believed to be involved in a number of housebreaking and theft cases has been arrested near Selegie Road on Tuesday.

After extensive ground enquiries and crime scene investigations, the police managed to identify the suspect.

He is believed to be linked to several cases of housebreaking, which began in August last year, at residential units in Jurong West and Ubi Avenue.

The culprit had gained entry by tampering with window panels and grills.
