SDP May Day Open House

Dear friends,

May Day is just next week and for the SDP it is a very important occasion as it is a day we honour our workers.

To commemorate the occasion we are having an open house at our office for some kueh and coffee from 2pm to 4pm and would like to invite you to visit us.

Not only is it a time for us to mark the event, it is also an opportunity to discuss how we can advance the rights of our workers especially at a time when the PAP is talking about a 6.9m population.

Ithaca

When you set out for Ithaka
ask that your way be long,
full of adventure, full of instruction.

not expecting Ithaka to give you wealth.
Ithaka gave you a splendid journey.
Without her you would not have set out.
She hasn't anything else to give you.

And if you find her poor, Ithaka hasn't deceived you.
So wise you have become, of such experience,
that already you'll have understood what these Ithakas mean.
