Both party are disgrace, cannot manage to get 40% vote. Meaning voter are totally reject the party. Because there are about 30% will vote for opposition regardless what opposition party.
The leader in SDA even cannot get 10% vote compare to WP without experienced.

This sore loser is talking cock and carries a huge ego! He served the people there since the last GE in what capacity? How can he say the people voted blindly for WP?That's being very unfair to Lee Li Lian who is no airhead. Same for Michael Palmer! Might as well say the people there also voted blindly for him because he is from PAP. One thing's for sure though, they rejected him outright through the ballot box. If he direct fight with Micheal Papmer he still lose. Will get less than 40% compare to Lee Li Lian. As a leader of the party SDA he doesnt gain respect from his own party less talk about others.
Desmond Lim is a sour grape lost his credibility after he boot out the popular Mr Chiam from the SDA. SDA's image have suffered because of him. Voters think that SDA is a party more interested in their self interest than the interest of the people. He claimed to work the ground but voters didn't feel the presence of him. SDA's slogan of "More Good Years for PAP, more bad years for the people" is not catchy and sound like Goh Chok Tong's Swiss Standard of living. Even if he is in the Workers' Party, Mr Low won't let him stand for elections because he don't have charisma and don't speak like a politician. Lee Li Lian may be an unknown before the election but she is no lightweight. She is trainer in profession and she is good in getting rapport from the audience.
To be fair to Desmond he was right on 1 thing, Lee Li Lian was riding on the reputation of WP rather then her own hard work. This prove one of 2 things
1)WP is far superior in the eyes of voters vs SDA
2)All the "hard work" that he claimed to have done doesn't register with the voters
Both indicating that he should F the hell off. If he has half a brain he should also realize that SDA doesn't mean shit in the eyes of voters and should just close it down. Let WP take over the wards they have contested in this time round
