Why are you so callous arguing over who contributes to the economy?, the lowly sweeper is contributing too, are you going sing the song that the rich are subsidizing the poor? We are talking about a reckless driver, who behind the wheel of the Ferrari becomes a killer. He had killed a sole bread earner of a family who was also contributing to the economy & the Japanese woman, who as a tourist or working here is contributing too.
Everyone who is economically productive contributes in one way or another. However, the wealthy contribute MUCH MORE than a lowly sweeper who can easily be replaced with another lowly sweeper if need be.
So at one end of the spectrum we have people like Steve Jobs, Bill Gates etc who are impossible to replace and on the other end we have sweepers and taxi drivers who are a dime a dozen and can be replaced within hours.
