A TEENAGER was found dead this morning after being raped and having her face SKINNED.

Christine Silawan, 17, was walking to church yesterday and was last seen at 4pm with three men in the Philippines.

Tragically, she was found dead in a field in Lapu-Lapu City this morning with her trousers and underwear missing.

Christine's face had been skinned, leaving nothing but her skull, teeth, eyeballs and hair.

Police said they suspected the teenager had been raped as her clothes had been torn off.

They believe the killers could have been high on drugs or removed the girl's face as part of a twisted ritual.

SICK RITUAL

Her mum Joan became worried when she didn't come home by 7pm and called police before the schoolgirl was found.

The gruesome discovery shocked locals, who reported the mutilated body to cops.

Christine's friends paid tribute to the ''beautiful, clever'' girl while officers began the hunt for her killers.

Haring Joseph said: ''Rest in peace, my friend and my condolences to all of your family. May the police find whoever did this.''
