Most chinese came to singapore last 100 years. Came to "malay archipelago". So phillipinos have every right to claim this island as any chinaman.
If not for phillipinos, singaporeans would have less kids, or their kids would have died of starvation and neglect. Sinkies only know how to have sex, make babies but dunno how to care for them.
