Sayonara Liang Court. Thanks for the memories.

Latest field report.

Clarke Quay is a ghost town now. All the pubs, cafes, restaurants are fucked. Their employees sitting around outside their shops, smoking and chatting.

Liang Court has been fully demolished.

Lots of development and renovations near the bridge across the river to Liang Court, including a condo with a silly name: 'Canninghill Piers'.

The slingshot ride near Hill Street has been closed, will be opened in Q3 2021.

No tourists coming anytime soon and too atas for locals. Clarke quay is kaput. L’aimât court gone means cannot beo Japanese milf. Have to go Great World”.

Meidi-ya, the Jap supermarket at the basement was a haven for Jap milfs. Sometimes they can be found at Orchard Isetan etc.

April 2017, Liang Court Meidi-ya supermarket, Google Maps photo.

Yes it's gone. Two years ago it was already very empty, I mainly used it as an aircon shortcut to the other side of Clarke Quay.

The writing was on the wall when Kinokuniya closed.

Normally I was there with my Japanese friends for meet up. Then they left return home when Singapore hit by Covid19. I don't really frequent clark quay.
But the younger days nearby mohamad sultan is my happening place.

Meidiya at liang court was once a good place...

Now they shift to millenia walk and the supermarket becoming very bad... less variety of items and more expensive now...

They are also renovating the path along the river, near the bridge closest to where Liang Court once stood.
