Majority in their domain of expert will have no reason or interest to switch. Switch also means wasting time, effort & money in building a career & taxpayers funding your education.

A lot of healthcare workers all jumping to private sector nobody want to work for MOH with Tiktok Ong Ye Cunt

Not everyone has the inclination to work as a nurse. Same for being a teacher, social worker etc.

Don't be gaslighted by the PAP regime that you can 'switch' into anything they fancy.

Better than collecting cardboard or selling tissues.
If you get sick, you are attended immediately.

if you want to be a teacher, pivot to private education. The sky is your limit. Don't run into a cul de sac with MOE. Same with nursing, there's always the private sector. better still, do it elsewhere, like education.

nursing is an unrewarding thankless career, especially since xi virus pandamic. burn out (and die out) is 69% surety if there’s another pandamic. instead of importing 3rd world nurses (and depriving those cuntries of healthcare workers) and now encouraging sinkie unkers and aunties to switch careers why don’t the stubborn gov just impose 1-year full time ns (medical) on spgs? followed by 6.9 years of nursing reservist duties (3 weeks per year) at hospitals and clinics?

seriously, who wants to be nursed by an aging and balding man like Mr Leong?! We are want our SYT pinay, commie chink, minah in their tight uniforms. That's why we get admitted in the first place. Gosh, what's the world coming to?!!

no point if your small head is already half rotting, the other half waiting to gnawed by gangrene or diabetes. The nauseous SYT wont even look at it

It’s an interesting take on addressing the nursing shortage, but I think the burnout issue goes beyond just numbers. I left nursing recently for a career in project management, and the shift made me realize how much industries like healthcare could benefit from practices used in Agile methodologies. It’s not just about switching careers—it’s about finding frameworks that work better for people and teams. For example, Agile has its own set of challenges (like balancing flexibility with structure, managing stakeholder expectations, etc.), which are laid out really well in this blog I found: https://www.advisedskills.com/blog/agile-and-scrum/common-challenges-in-agile-practices-today. Maybe we could adapt some of those solutions to healthcare?

At this age with hair dropping still want to be nurse? It will cause more harm to patients then anything.
Eyes cannot see properly, not agile and alert, cannot stand for long hours, and hand shaking how to insert cannula?
